Rob Houghtaling

Rob brings broad experience in strategy consulting across the life sciences industry to Locust Walk. Prior to joining the team, Rob was a Consultant at Health Advances, LLC. While at Health Advances, he advised biopharmaceutical, medical device and private equity clients on a wide range of commercial strategy and transaction-oriented engagements. His experience spanned due diligence, M&A strategy, commercial assessments, and financial analysis.
Prior to Health Advances, Rob held R&D positions in academia at Columbia University and in industry at a start-up, Targeson. He is a published author of clinical literature and holds joint inventorship on a US patent.
Rob holds an MS in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University.
He is a FINRA registered representative and holds his Series 79 and 63 licenses.
Outside of Locust Walk, Rob enjoys golf, skiing, and community service.
